3 Days 50 miles 2022!
I was 16 years old and remember the very moment mom found out she had MS, which at that moment was nothing more to me than 2 letters. Over the years I learned that MS just sucks!! Okay so about that walk!! I promise to be completely honest with you all and will share the beautiful moments of this journey and the ugly ones also!! Back 22 years ago in 2000 my sister approached me with the offer to participate in the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Walk, 3 days 60 miles. I decided it sounded like a great idea (still not sure why I thought that was a great idea but...) I signed up. Oh, let me mention that we also had to sleep in a tent those 2 nights! I didn't really train I mean it was walking, no big deal. Oh my gosh boy was I wrong. I quickly learned that walking 60 miles was anything but easy!! 10 years later I again agreed to join another breast cancer walk.
